Community Guidelines

The Snippet is a student-only social platform built for honest, anonymous, and respectful expression within college communities. These guidelines exist to keep that space safe and worth coming back to. By using the platform, you agree to follow these rules.

Remember: While your Lowkey Profile is anonymous to other users, it is internally linked to your verified student identity. Violations of these guidelines are traceable and will result in action.

1. Be Respectful

Treat every member of the community with basic dignity. Disagreements are fine — harassment is not.

2. Keep It Real (and Honest)

Authenticity is core to what we are building. Do not distort reality in ways that harm others.

3. No Explicit or Harmful Content

Zero Tolerance: Content that sexualises minors, promotes self-harm, or incites violence will result in immediate and permanent account suspension, and may be reported to law enforcement.

4. Protect Others' Privacy

Anonymity is a privilege extended to you — do not use it to violate someone else's privacy.

5. No Spam or Misuse

The platform exists for genuine community interaction, not for promotion or manipulation.

6. Confessions & Lowkey Posts

The anonymous confession feature is one of the most sensitive parts of The Snippet. Use it responsibly.

7. Enforcement

We take violations seriously. Depending on the severity, consequences may include:

8. Reporting

If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it using the in-app report button. You can also reach our support team directly at support@thesnippet.app. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
